Head Chef Anthony McIntosh, aka ‘Macca’, is a local and is passionate about all things food and being in the kitchen. Here’s a few words of wisdom from Macca;
“Me, I personally think you cannot beat simple food, if it’s done right, it’s going to be amazing. The cheek of beef slow cooking is awesome, making the stock from scratch, adding the spices and fresh herbs. Then you cook it down and intensify the flavours over 12 hours, getting everything right. It can be really sexy. You end up with this rich sauce, it’s sexy as! The feedback we get on it is unreal! I’m like, I hope so, it took three days to make.”
